TOTIM® is a fully sealed, customized patient posterior cushion covered with microfiber polyester tissue, designed for patient positioning and immobilization during simulation, planning, and radiation treatment.
The cushion shapes and molds around the patient after activation of its internal components. It retains its formed shape throughout all radiotherapy sessions, ensuring reproducibility of the patient’s position.
TOTIM® has been proven to significantly reduce preparation time, especially for challenging setups. By minimizing misalignments, workflow is enhanced, thus saving therapists and physicians valuable time.

The TOTIM® cushion forms by activating its internal components, then shaping and molding around the patient. This eliminates the need for vacuum or water activation, simplifying the process.
Activation of the cushion is followed by positioning the patient. Once in place, the cushion naturally molds around the patient’s body, providing a custom fit with minimal effort.
Patients can repeatedly get in and out of the cushion throughout the day without compromising its shape or effectiveness. This ensures consistent, reproducible positioning for accurate daily treatment.
The TOTIM® Patient Cushions Immobilization System is indicated for positioning, immobilizing, and repositioning adult and pediatric patients undergoing radiation therapy of the body, including the head, brain, neck, cervical, arm, limb, hand, and leg. This includes use in Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), Stereotactic Radiotherapy (SRT), Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT), and electron, photon, and proton treatments. The device is also used during image acquisition, such as Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance (MR) Imaging, to support treatment planning.
